HOME

Today is the last day of the month off. Start heading back tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to being in the car for 4 days. Right now we're visiting Barb and Bill in Crater Lake. Great to see them again. It's been very relaxing here. Alot of mosquitos though. They decided to punish us and made us take a ride around the lake (Diamond Lake) by bike. 11 MILES. Cliff and I never thougt we'd make it. We survived and it wasn't so bad. The beer afterward probably defeated the purpose though. The weather here has been very nice. Cool at night and maybe 60 ish in the daytime. NO RAIN. I think it rained every day since we left accept for here. It's been a great trip and I have no regrets. Yes I would do it again. I am greatful for the company giving me this opportunity. I do have to fill in the blanks and will try to do so soon. Wifi isn't so plentiful in the mountains. Bye for now, be seeing you soon. It Seems like forever

It's been a really long time but, finally today, I got WIFI. What a nice thing to have all the amenities. We haven't had phone service or hook ups of any kind on the camper so this is great. I'm going to work backwards and let you know what's been going on.
Today we drove down to Tillimook, Oregon. Yes it's the big cheese. Tomorrow we'll take the tour to see them make some cheese. Im hoping we stay here tomorrow too so we can have all these wonderful conveniences.
Yesterday we were at a favorite place of ours Kalaloch, Washington. It's on the coast of Washington. We were there for 4 days and had one day of sunshine. Everyday we took walks on the beach and looked for whales. Never found any. It was beautiful there. The noise from the surf hitting was loud. You think it would help you sleep at night but not. The weather stays around 50 degrees, 55 if it's sunny. I'm hoping to upload pictures but I have to figure that one out. It's amazing that the water can come so close to where everything is and not hurt anything.
We are officially on the downhill side. We're getting ready to see Barb and Bill at Crater Lake. We're going to get there a little earlier than we anticipated because it took 5 days to get here.
We're going to try and leave at the latest Friday now so at least we'll have Wednesday to unwind a little. Driving here is very slow because of the windy and hilly roads. Hopefully it will be a nice trip home.

sun

Wow, the sun again, it's Saturday. Today I just want to stay at Fort Townsend for the day. Tired of moving around. Yesterday we went to Dungennes (spelled wrong) State Park. They have a trail called the spit. Half a mile down to the ocean. Five miles of a narrow walkway to a lighthouse. An unbelievable sight. Kind of scarry. the ocean on one side and the bay on the other. We walked about 1 1/2 miles and then came back. We thought the tides would come in and take us away. WE FORGOT THE CAMERA. Tomorrow, going to Seattle by ferry. Hope the weather cooperates. Monday on to Olympic National Park, Tuesday to Victoria Island. Hope all is well inland. Miss everyone.

THE REAL WORLD

Finally found someplace to make entry. It's Friday and it's rainy but might see sun this afternoon. The weather here has been cool. 60 ish. Missed a few days. We had a sunny day on Thursday that was nice. It's been raining since we hit Oregon. HOWEVER, we did find a couple of casinos that were happy to pay me some money, not alot but some, that's ok. Cliff won shit. I had to support him. He's pretty grumpy when he doesn't win. We did go to a casino that alot of men were talking to me and waving at me and then Cliff brought to my attention that I was the youngest person in the casino. IT WAS SENIOR DAY. I won there too, minimal. Well off to Sequim and Port Angeles, Cliff is waiting.

RELAX

Hello again in Idaho now. Cliff is chilling out. He said he's was getting grouchy. I don't believe it. I sent him fishing. We stopped early today. Almost ran out of gas. Gas stations every 50 or so miles. We ran over a medal ramp in the road, scared the _____ out of us. There was no way to avoid it. We were afraid to look. Just a tire was bruised. I think he'll make it. Miss you? Not yet.
Talk to you all soon. Love this WI-FI.
BUTT! Second day and 2 hrs on the road and my butt hurts. Stayed in a Walmart parking lot last night, COLD. Glad we had extra blankets. Let Rock Springs and headed for
Boise, Idaho. Hope to find a campsite tonight.

GETTING READY

Only one day of work left before we leave, getting ready is exhausting. I hope I don't forget anything important. I've never left our family for so long before. It's a little bittersweet. Thank God for cell phones and computers to keep in touch. I'll miss everyone.
